How to organise files with folders, favourites and groups
Folders give you structure, favourites give you speed, and groups collect files from anywhere in the workspace under one colour. A file joins a group without leaving its folder.
- 1 Choose New folder and give it a name.
- 2 Select several files, choose Move, and pick the folder to send them to.
- 3 Star the files you open often; Favourites appears in the sidebar.
- 4 Create a group, then add files to it from any folder in the workspace.
- 5 Open the group to see everything together, wherever it actually lives.
Let’s start with folders. New folder, give it a name, done.
To move files, select a few, and choose Move. Pick the folder, and they’re on their way.
Files you open all the time? Star them. Favourites live right here in the sidebar.
Now, groups. A group is a colour-coded collection that can pull files from any folder.
Let’s make one called Launch. Add a photo from here, a document from over there.
Open the group, and everything’s together, no matter where it actually lives.
Folders for structure. Favourites for speed. Groups for projects.
